| Ralph Lutjen has over 30 years experience in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions spanning a broad range of sectors including chemicals, petrochemicals, refinery, manufacturing, and high technology electronics and systems. He has led the negotiations on over 40 transactions encompassing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. Mr. Lutjen was Vice President of Corporate Business Development for UOP LLC. As Director of Corporate Ventures for Union Carbide Corporation, he managed acquisition, divestiture and joint venture transactions and was responsible for the successful conclusion of over 30 of these transactions over a 12-year period. He played a major role in the development of Carbide’s corporate strategy, which led to the merger with the Dow Chemical Company. Previous experience includes creating a successful new business development program to execute strategic acquisitions for an electronic technology corporation, and corporate planning and restructuring of a specialty tools manufacturer culminating with a successful merger. He also managed the financial planning and analysis for a high technology company and structured financing transactions for a leasing/finance company. Mr. Lutjen holds an MBA from Adelphi University and a BBA from Hofstra University. |
