Dr. Miller has many years’ experience in commercializing
research outcomes. He has experience in evaluating intellectual
property, licensing, management of new product development,
and in managing intellectual property. His principal area of
expertise is in Genetics, and in particular, research management.
He developed and optimized the method for screening Yeast
Artificial Chromosome libraries by Homologous Recombination.
Dr. Miller has many years’ experience in evaluating the
commercial value of intellectual property, as it relates to Mergers
and Acquisitions. He holds 5 patents relating to genetics.

Dr. Miller held several executive positions over a long career with
Transkaryotic Therapies, Inc. in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A
native of the UK, Dr. Miller holds both BA and MA degrees in
Biochemistry from University of Cambridge, and PhD in Molecular
Biology from Cambridge. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard
University. Dr. Miller and his family live in Bedford, MA.
